This book will make you FEEL SOMETHING

I am not a good enough writer to describe how amazing this book is. It does an amazing job at taking you through the journey of an abusive relationship; how it starts like a dream and slowly turns dark. It taught me so many lessons and also helped me feel seen and come to terms with my own experiences. What I enjoyed the most though, was the ability of the writer to make my heart ACHE. There are poems that will leave you breathless and needing to take a pause. IN THE BEST WAY. I also loved that the way the book is organized because it takes you through the whole journey beginning to end.

Top-Notch Poetry 🤍

Simply the best, most profound collections of stories that are so real, important, and hit you right in the gut where you realize it’s okay to feel. 🖤

This book is for everyone!!

This book gets 5 stars for me it really is so beautifully written and written with the readers in mind even if you don’t relate to every subject in the book there really is something for everyone to connect to which I really love🤍

Incredibly raw

I’m not much of a poetry reader myself but I was incredibly interested in a real life experience told through poems.
My favorite part was how the book was arranged. It really allowed deep insight into the situation and the ebbs and flows.
My only real issue is the length. I feel like there was a lot more that could have been explored especially about recovery.
